Sam is a natural facilitator with a keen instinct for conversation and holding space for multiple perspectives. This is a discussion and examination of concerns, hopes, and aspirations of design educators regarding the current state of design education, and an exploration of how the DEC can better support them.
Currently, she is program director for the Design & Innovation Management program in the College of Business. Prior to joining the College of Business, she was the coordinator of the Graphic Design program in the College of Liberal Arts and developed coursework in typography, design and writing and design history.
